Biography

Cristina Baeza holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Complutense, with specialization in International and Development Economics.

Cristina has completed a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Energy Economics, at the French Institute of Petroleum coordinated with the Universities Panthéon and Bourgogne, and also the Master´s Degree in Teacher Training at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. And she completed the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where she is a PhD student in the Department of Education Teaching and Theory.

With more than eighteen years of professional experience, Cristina has developed her work mainly in multinational companies, as Head of Marketing and Sales in Retail and as Head of Change Management and Training in Human Resources. In 2014, she started working at ICEX Spain, a public business entity which main purpose is the promotion of the internationalization of the economy and Spanish companies. Developing and managing international marketing, communication and training activities.

Combined professional tasks in private companies and in the Public Administration, with the teaching work. Teacher certified by the CECO since 2014, and Professor of Technical Training Modules in the areas of Marketing and International Trade in French as a foreign language. Cristina has taught different training executive programs, courses and seminars in business management, for the development of marketing and branding strategies, as well as assessments for human resources departments working on professional team skills.

Since 2016, she teaches International Trade, Economics, Marketing and Commercial Distribution as Teaching Assistant in the Department of Business Organization and Marketing at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and since 2017 in the Department of Business Economics at Universidad Carlos III.
