Celestino González Fernández is a PhD(c) in Clinical and Health Psychology at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (currently), Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology at Universidad Europea de Madrid (2017), Graduate in Psychology at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (2015), Master in Sports Organizations and Facilities Management at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2002) and Physical Education teacher at Universidad de León (1999).
Nowadays, he combines teaching, research and training at different educational levels with psychological therapy in his own consultation CGF Psychology.
Previously, in his professional career, he highlights his experience for 5 years in the Human Resources Department of the Istituto Europeo di Design S.L., higher education entity in the field of Design. It is also remarkable his extensive experience since 1999 and for 15 years in the Public Administration as a civil servant Career in the area of direction, management and coordination of human resources, activities, events and sports facilities, in the city council of Villaquilambre (León). Currently, leave on personal grounds.
His current research is focused on Health, Stress and Personality, in the concept of Technostress. This research is proposed in the psychosocial context, specifically in labor organizations of different productive and services fields where the worker has an obligation to be continuously connected to the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It will try to see the influence of ICTs on the health and well-being of the different groups of workers.
He is a psychological member M-31476 at the Colegio Oficial de Psicología de Madrid, where he is a member of the Working Group of Psychology and Occupational Health and the Working Group of Psychology and Technology. He has also collaborated for 2 years with Psicólogos Sin Fronteras performing psychological therapy available to all people, working to improve the quality of their lives.
